This is a wonderful suite with a large kitchen and bath in a very unique setting. you truly feel like you are deep in a rain forest (probably because you are). It was a wonderful stay, slept very well, and enjoyed tasty coffee in the morning. The room had everything we needed and the pond was pretty.
I think (but can’t say for sure) the existing reviews and photos might be provided across multiple properties—they have 3 in the area. My impression is that if you book direct you will end up at this property, with: zen garden, rockwork shower in room, electric fireplace. The rockwork from the shower is also carried into the entrance space, and it’s a fun vibe. There is a lot of lighting options including a color changing light in the entry which is fun, and make the space feel welcoming. The bathroom with the rockwork shower is maybe not stunning luxury anymore but it is fun, and functional. The bedroom is attached at the back of the room, meaning it is not adjacent to the walls of other rooms, which is good, as the walls do allow sound through; however, with the placement and then the dehumidifier running, it would be hard to be kept up by noise. The pillows weren’t the best and the bed was your classic spring bed. The parking situation might be pretty comical if all spaces were to be occupied; they are the smallest spaces I’ve ever seen. The zen garden is nice and seems fairly well maintained. Overall it was a great value for the proximity to the national park, and I’d happily stay again!
This hotel is such a gem. No front desk, but check in/check out was easy. We felt like we were staying in a beautiful tropical tree house! Comfy bed, very clean, fridge, microwave, hair dryer. We slept so well! The shower was fun - a lot of the space felt like you were in a cave. I'd highly recommend staying here! The perfect spot to stay while enjoying Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park.
What an absolutely gorgeous place to stay! The outdoor space is beautiful say and night. We loved our space. It was very clean, comfy, and huge. Being here was very relaxing and romantic. I especially enjoyed the amazing shower! Safe, quiet, and very close to the national park. It would be really nice if some sort of grab and go breakfast was included but we enjoyed our stay regardless.
What a great location for a short stay! The bed and pillows were actually the comfiest I’ve ever had - even compared to hotels like Marriott and Hilton. The room was big, shower was great, and there’s like maybe 10 rooms that makes the stay super peaceful. The room comes with a fridge and a microwave and a huge table so if you bring food back to the room it’s easy to have dinner or heat up leftovers. The only issue we had is that we saw pics of a hot tub online and couldn’t find it- we came to the conclusion that it was removed, which it would have been a nice incentive for after our hike of volcano. However it wouldn’t deter me from staying here again!
10 stars! Quiet, tucked back, 10 min from the park. Gorgeous jungle location. You will feel like you have the whole place to yourself. We stayed in the king room overlooking a tranquil koi pond. Electric fireplace really sent the ambiance. The room was clean, mold free, critter free and the bed was beyond comfortable. The Entire check in /out was simple. Such a gem to find and at such a reasonable cost. We have already told all our friends and we will definitely book again on our next visit.
This is conveniently located near the Volcanoes NP! The room we got is very big and clean! Even the shower area is so big! They use a self check in method which is so convenient! Guest supplies are in a separate room. There is ample parking for all guests.
Forever a special place - I got engaged here! This place will forever hold a special place in my heart, I got engaged in this jungle! :) The unit was so cozy! The the interior was as if I was living in a modern stay. Check in was easy, and checking out was easier. I loved it here, and I would recommend it to my friends and family who plan on visiting the Volcano National Park! Pro tip: Grocery stores are are about 30-40 minutes away! Make sure to stop somewhere and pick up anything you may need. They have bowls, utensils, microwave, mini fridge, and wine glasses.
